I checked the bilge. Not too much water in the bottom of the boat. It'll be ok while I am gone to Nashville.
Off to my brother Joe's house for what is becoming a holiday tradition of stopping by on Christmas or Christmas eve in the afternoon, before going to Gail's for dinner.
We noshed on good hors d'oeuvres and drank some Yippykiyay Whiskey. We listened to some of the yiddish recording of my Grandpa Meyer telling his life story. Really nice to spend some quality time with Wendy, Joe, Rebecca and Bobby.
Later on, many more Gorelick's arrived. Phyl, Lynn, Jason (Lewis[-Gorelick]), Mike and Olivia. We got to celebrate Hannukah. We lit multiple Menorahs [Menorim?] and ate latkes.
We joked that Jews don't eat pork, except Honey Baked Ham. Joe pulled out the leftovers and we had a little Hannukah Ham. Delish.
On to Gail and Gamiel's for the second night in a row. Even more extravagance. Christmas Dinner. Champagne. Crab appetizers. Filet Mignon with gorgonzola sauce. Home made rhubarb pie with whipped cream. Another wonderful family gathering. We are doubly blessed.
