I did not go too far out. Just to Baker Beach which is less than a mile outside the Golden Gate, just to the left. Dropped two pots in 80 feet of water. I used lots of good bait (squid, anchovies, rock cod and smelt). A smorgasbord. I'll pick up the pots tomorrow.
Hopefully we'll get some crab for a big dinner with Lynn and my mom.
Great spin class over the lunch hour. Pursuit - The Burn. Five sprint based competitive efforts. I have gotten to know the spin group and the instructors at Equinox. Happy with my decision to change gyms.
Not much else to report. Washed the car, which had been filthy. Had Meyer over for dinner.
Watching the 49er Seahawk Monday Night Football Game. Rookie kicker just tied the game with a long field goal with one second left in the fourth quarter! Into overtime. Drat - Seattle came back to win the game with a last second field goal.
Going thru our annual battle with DirecTV. The bill just reached $140 per month. I call to quit and they always offer us a better deal. This time I mean business! I am quitting tomorrow. The other TV options are head spinning: Apple TV, Sling, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube TV and on and on. I don't know what I'll do if they call my bluff. To be continued.
