Walked to the ferry building this morning with Beth for a coffee and light breakfast. Sat outside next to the bay. So connected to nature being on or around the water. The ferries coming and going. Treasure island in the distance. Fog still shrouding the entrance to the Golden Gate and creeping into the bay. Saw a Sea lion or seal. I can’t tell the difference.
Planning a date with Beth at Ebisu, my favorite Japanese restaurant tonight. Dreaming about fried whole flounder and Hamachi kama.
Felt the sun shining on us between buildings as we walked home from the ferry building. So good to feel the sunshine. The sun is usually blocked by buildings in the financial district. This is looking directly west up Market Street from the Ferry Building. Beth is bundled up. Its getting colder.
I am reading a book about preparation for the Camino before I go to bed. It’s helping me have pleasant dreams.
